Partners in Grace

A Gospel Partnership That Transcends Borders

The bond we share in Christ transcends distance and culture. While imprisoned in Philippi, the Apostle Paul thanked God for fellow believers who partnered with him in the gospel, calling them “partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel” (Philippians 1:7).

LCMI offers short-term mission trips to strengthen our partnership with our Asian brothers and sisters in Christ. These trips deepen our commitment to pray for, support, encourage, and love one another—despite the thousands of miles that separate us. Witnessing God’s powerful work throughout Asia is a life-changing experience.

Voices from the Field

Read the testimonies of two pastors who recently returned from a short-term trip with LCMI:

Pastor Nathan

“‘If the early Christians had to suffer, then we must be willing to as well.’ These were the words spoken by one brother who serves as a leader with LCMI about severe persecution in his country. Many [Asian believers] have had to or will experience that reality—the price of bearing witness to the Lord Jesus. The heart of the brothers/sisters we met across four diverse nations and even more diverse peoples is what gripped my thinking as I reflect on what God is doing in these lands. The Lord Jesus is building His Church, refining His Bride, and strengthening His people as they remain sojourners in a world which is not our home.”

Nathan goes on to say that persecution was not what defined their trip, but rather the wonder of God’s beautiful creation along with the people’s sweet hospitality was a treasure.

“The people opened their hearts to receive us as messengers from God, embracing our shared fellowship in the sufferings of Christ—sufferings in which we all partake—just as we will one day share in the glory of our Triune God.”

Pastor Jason

“It was an incredible privilege to minister with LCMI during the months of June and July. We saw the Lord’s hand moving in the hearts of children, adults, and pastors as the gospel was proclaimed and the central doctrines of the faith were taught. Two of the most meaningful moments for me were hearing the stories of our faithful brothers and sisters enduring persecution and praying that all the children would come to saving faith and grow up to be gospel warriors who shine the light of Jesus Christ in a dark and dying land.

Finally, I just want to say how incredible this ministry is being used by the Lord. I have been involved with LCMI for the past ten years, but I had no idea how far-reaching the ministry is in these unreached areas of Asia until I saw it firsthand in four different countries. I praise God for the gospel impact that He is doing through LCMI and seeing many lives transformed for the glory of His name and the good of those precious souls!”

United in Mission

Whether through prayer, presence, or support, every believer can share in this important mission. May we continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters across Asia—for the sake of the Gospel and the glory of God.
