Parents Seminars

We aim to build homes filled with Christ's love, respect, and discipleship, starting with the parents.

When we heard our campers sharing about their alcoholic fathers and troubled homes, prayerfully, we knew we had to act. Many of our campers return to homes without any Christian influence. We wanted to help create a home environment ideal for discipleship and growth in their new relationships with God. This vision led to the creation of Parents Seminars to reach children and their families holistically, reinforcing the Gospel truths they heard at camp.

The goal of Parents Seminars is to bring the Gospel to parents, enabling them to actively disciple their children.

LCMI ministers to parents through these seminars, guiding, encouraging, and equipping them to bring their families to Jesus Christ.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.

We aim to conduct a Parents Seminar at every mobile camp to strengthen entire family units in the ways of the Lord, creating environments of love, respect, and commitment.

As their children participate in camp activities, parents gather to hear teachings on Biblical parenting and marriage. These seminars discuss building and maintaining healthy, Gospel-centered marriages and raising godly children, following Proverbs 22:6.

A Q&A session allows parents to ask pressing concerns anonymously, giving the LCMI team a chance to provide direction and hope to strained and desperate personal situations. Addressing common issues like poverty, abuse, and alcoholism, LCMI seeks to share the love and power of Jesus Christ.

By ministering to both children and parents, we have seen families changed by the Holy Spirit.
