Spring has arrived!
Colorful perennials, carefully planted years ago, are now joyfully reflecting the glory of God’s creation. Their brilliance shines all the more against the often-gray skies of early spring. The time and effort spent planting and tending these little treasures was well worth it.
How much more valuable is the time spent planting Gospel seeds—seeds that, by God’s grace, will produce a harvest of transformed lives! We are so thankful to be part of this kind of planting, watering, and sowing. God gives the harvest, and we praise Him for it.
What is a mobile camp?
Unlike a traditional Christian camp with a permanent location, mobile camps allow us to travel to different areas—often remote and rural—across five countries in Asia. Our three-day camps give children and young people the opportunity to disconnect from daily distractions and encounter the truth of God’s Word in a personal and impactful way.
Through worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship, campers are introduced to the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ and encouraged to put their faith in Him. Many form lasting friendships, discover their God-given purpose, and learn to become contributing members of society. As of April 10, we have conducted 24 camps this year, reaching 1,396 children. We praise God that from these 24 camps, 544 campers were redeemed by the Lord and 465 campers re-dedicated their lives to the Lord. What a wonderful God we serve!
While we hold camps throughout the year, our busiest season is from April through July. During these four months alone, we have 102 camps scheduled across five countries. Please pray for our on-the-ground missionaries as they travel thousands of miles during this busy season. The logistics, details, and pace can be overwhelming, but we trust that the Lord who has called us will also provide and fulfill His purposes.
Your prayerful support means so much to us.
Why Asia?
Asia accounts for 58.74% of the world’s population (2025, Worldometer), yet Christianity—of all types—makes up only 6.53% of the population (2025 estimate, Pew Research Center). There is much work to be done. Our mission is to keep sharing the Gospel until all have heard.
As you enjoy the variety and beauty of spring flowers, please remember to pray for the ministry of LCMI. Pray that many campers will come to Christ, grow in His knowledge and grace, and boldly carry the Gospel into their communities—and into future generations.
