Hole in the Church Seminars
"Disabled people are not in our way; they are a part of the way."
Chuck Swindoll
All Members in One Body
In some parts of Asia, people with special needs are often viewed as insignificant, unfortunate, or cursed, and are excluded from society. Sadly, much of the Asian Church reflects this cultural attitude rather than representing Christ. This has left a significant gap or “hole” in the church regarding people with special needs.
LCMI has felt led to address this issue by training pastors to minister to and include people with special needs in church life.
Our Hole in the Church Seminar covers God's heart and Biblical teachings on special needs.
We emphasize the importance of all members in the Body of Christ as stated in 1 Corinthians 12. Church leaders are challenged with Chuck Swindoll's quote: "Disabled people are not in our way; they are a part of the way."
The seminar offers practical steps for integrating those with special needs, such as providing transportation and identifying their giftings. We pray that the fellowship of all believers, with and without special needs, will become a reality in the Asian church, as seen in Acts 2.
“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!”
